  • OSCAR: Online System for Clerkship Application and Review - Federal Judicial Clerkships
    Site enables clerkship applicants to select among participating federal judges to whom they wish to apply and then build and submit their applications online. Applicants upload cover letters, resumes, transcripts, and writing samples and submit electronic requests for recommendation letters to their recommenders. OSCAR electronically invites the recommenders to log onto the system and create and upload letters of recommendation on behalf of the applicants. When the applications are complete, judges log on and begin the hiring process.
  • National Center for State Courts

  • New York State Court of Appeals Clerkship Opportunities
    Contains information on available clerkship opportunities and the associated application procedures.
  • New York State Appellate Division, Fourth Department
    Contains information on the court, biographies on current and former appellate justices, Law Guardian Program as well as current job postings.

    A private site maintained by DMS Consulting, whose principal, Debra Strauss, was formerly Director of Judicial Clerkships at Yale Law School. This site helps law students successfully navigate the maze of courts and clerkship opportunities, and offers valuable information and advice about judicial clerkships, as well as links to the best court sites and judicial clerkship listings.
