IDENTIFYING SUMMER INTERNSHIP/JOB OPPORTUNITIES/POSSIBILITIES

There are several approaches to take to identify and research organizations or other entities focusing on a particular area of work in a particular part of the country or the world.

 

  1. Use a Directory, or compiled list of organizations (in Print or on the Internet)
  2. Conduct Advanced Internet (Google) searches
  3. Search News stories for articles on activities/events/organizations related to your interest

  4. Use Social Networking sites/tools
  5. Consult Job/Volunteer Resources
  6. Look for Career Guides
