 Unlimited access  during law school including use while fulfilling the Pro Bono Requirement.

Unlimited access using law school issued password for 6 months after graduation including use of password while fulfilling the Pro Bono Requirement.

LexisNexis

Can use Lexis Law School ID as a resource while fulfilling the pro bono requirement.

 

Students studying for the bar immediately after graduation can use Lexis Law School ID toward pro bono requirement.

 

No free access to Lexis unless qualified under the terms of the Aspire Program*
(The Aspire Program allows students who pursue public service during the deferral of professional practice to access certain LexisNexis services free of charge.)

  (For 3L or LLM students  graduating from law school, who wish to continue using Lexis Advance® to study for the bar exam, to improve  research efficiency and  to prepare for employment.

Westlaw

Unlimited use of Westlaw for credit-bearing courses, law review and journal work, professor research support, moot court, pro bono, public service, and unpaid public internships.

If a student is being paid for summer work, then s/he is not eligible for the summer extension.

To extend, students can click on the banner on the www.lawschool.westlaw.com site that says “Need Your Westlaw Password this summer”  and indicate the reason for the extension.

Use of law school password is allowed during bar study preparation period (includes use while fulfilling the pro bono requirement with the exception of government-related externships/projects).

No free access to Westlaw. Contact Westlaw directly for subscription pricing.
